Get Brave and Earn BAT
If you are a content creator, you may want to check out the Brave web browser. Here, have a nice referral link to check it out.
In a nut shell, the Brave browser blocks 3rd party advertisers that you may be using to earn revenue on your site. It also pays users to use it.
By tracking the length of time and relevance a user stays on a site, it calculates the basic attention of a viewer. As part of this calculation, it builds up BAT (Basic Attention Token) in an account that you can set to automatically tip websites that provide value.
As a creator, you can sign up to add your content to the BAT network and receive credit. By connecting your uphold account, this credit can then be transferred to currency once you have accumulated enough.
Here are some of the types of content that can be listed:
- A website that you own and have access to the domain directory
- A website created with WordPress
- The YouTube channel you own or manage
- A Twitch channel to which you are the primary owner
- Any Twitter account you own or manage
- Any Vimeo channel you own or manage
- Your Reddit account
- A GitHub account to which you are the owner
